Bath Bombs are all the rage right now. I mean why aren’t they? They’re fun, pretty and smell good. (Insert clip of Tessa Brooks saying “I smell good” here. Haven’t seen that Youtube drama? Feel lucky. Thank you Brodey for introducing me to the IMMATURE side of Youtube.) I’ve got to be honest with you and tell you that I don’t think I’ve ever used a bath bomb before in my life. And If I had, it was YEARS ago. Pre-children. (That’s at least 10 years. Wait, I shouldn’t say that. It just shows how old I’m getting.)
I knew I wanted to buy some from her, but I also joined a contest she was holding on her Facebook page. And lo and behold I WON! We got together when she was up towards this way a couple of weeks ago. She gave me a box that contained a little thing of cuticle oil, one black and white charcoal bath bomb, one blue starfish, bubbling bath bomb, and another one that was in a jar instead of formed. (It’s a full bath bomb in a 4 oz jar.)
Then a week later, she needed some help with flyers for an event she was doing near me, I ran them out to her and in return she gave me two more bath bombs. One I used the same night, the other I just now used. (1.5 weeks later.)
Now, I LOOOVE relaxing baths. I will take them 365 days a year. I don’t care if it’s 8 degrees outside or 80. If a bath is calling my name there’s no way I’m going to bed without taking it. The weird part about this, is what I’ve previously said. I’ve never used bath bombs. At least, not in the last decade. (Old.)
This Charcoal bath bomb has Charcoal and buttermilk scented with Clary Sage (one of the most healthful essential oils with anti-convulsive, anti-depressant, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-septic, anti-spasmodic, astringent, and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also a nerve tonic and sedative with soothing and warming components.) And Rosemary (benefits hair growth.) Now, I loved the way it made me feel. It might have been one of the most relaxing baths of my life. It does leave a bit of a ring while the water is draining, BUT all you have to do is splash water on it and it comes RIGHT OFF. So if you buy one of these AMAZING bath bombs, do not freak out at the site of the charcoal that gathered. It’s easy to get rid of. 🙂
Pink and Blue Bubble Bath Bomb
The blue half is Mountain Rain and the pink half is Bubblegum Ylang Ylang. This is a bubble bath bomb! So as it fizzes, it also creates bubbles. (The picture I got wasn’t very good for the bubbles.) This one smelled amazing. There was a sweetness to the scent of it that I just loved.
This Seaside Bubble Bath Bomb is amazing. Not only does it look and sound like the perfect summer or spring break vacation, it also BUBBLES. (Like the previous one.) Now, I didn’t get a picture of it in use, because I gave in and let Brodey use this one. (It was hard, okay?) But he said he loved it. It made bubbles and it fizzled and he said it smelled amazing. I don’t know how it couldn’t with a mixture of Lavender, Bergamot, Eucalyptus and Rosemary with Jojoba oil.
Tahitian Vanilla Cupcake Bath Bomb
This bath bomb is absolutely amazing. It looks exactly like a cupcake and was actually rather hard not to eat it. (I’m just kidding.) (Maybe.) It has Pineapple essential oil, Cocoa and Shea Butter “frosting.” I do have to admit that I wasn’t going to even use it because it was far too gorgeous. (It’s hard to believe it’s ONLY $5.00!)
Jar Bath Soak
This picture has been taken from the With Love Bath & Beauty Products Facebook page. I snapped a photo of the one she gave me, but it didn’t turn out good. This one had coconut oil and shea butter. I gave it to my mom to try and she said she loved it!
My Favorite With Love Bath Bomb:
I loved them all so it was hard to pick my favorite. But I was able to narrow it down to, two. The charcoal one was my favorite because I love the way charcoal makes my skin feel. The second one was the cupcake. It smelled JUST like a cupcake. It was beautiful. It left my skin feeling so silky smooth AND my bathroom smelled amazing even an hour after my bath. She also makes cuticle cream and Soaps! I haven’t bought any yet, so look for a review on her other products coming soon!
