Woo hoo!! We leave for Las Vegas on Sunday!! I just cannot believe the time is almost here! Right now we are down to a little over 2.5 days. Here’s a glimpse of our itinerary!
-Leave at 5:00 A.M.
-Drive to St. George, Utah and stay there for the night (about 10 hours away!)
-Drive to Las Vegas (about 2 hours away)
-Eat at In N Out for lunch
-Check into the hotel (Monte Carlo!)
-Dinner at Earl of Sandwich
-Whatever happens, happens
-Whatever happens, happens
-Wake up at 4:00 A.M. and head home. (Around a 12 hour drive)
Am I excited for the drive? I’ll be honest, HECK NO. But I am excited to stay in St George. I’ve never stayed there before so it should be interesting. Nathan is super excited to stay there, though. It’s like his father’s day present. 🙂
Over the last week (which has been dragging by so slowly.) I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos on Vegas just because I am so excited. We don’t really have much of a plan other than the travel days and the food. (Gotta love being able to eat at amazing places!) We are just going to go and whatever happens, happens.
I’m thinking of bringing my Gopro so I can get some video footage of our time there. But I haven’t fully decided yet. I’m not much of a vlogger as I love the written word. So I’m hoping to bring this and make a few posts. But if I don’t, just know I’ll have a few I will make when we get home.
I’m really excited to go into the Paris Hotel, for some reason every time I have been there, I’ve missed it. (I love French Culture so it makes no sense that I’ve continuously missed it.) We are also going to make sure we check out the Linq and the Cosmopolitan. Which we have missed the other two times w were there.
But mostly, I’m excited to get away with my husband. I’m excited to have an “us” vacation and spend some time together. DON’T TAKE THIS WRONG. I love my kids to pieces and hate being away from them. I’m going to miss them so much. But it’s nice as an adult, to be able to spend alone time together and enjoy doing “adult things”. Especially, with how hectic Nathan’s job has been lately. He needs this vacation so much. And I’m excited we get to go do this together once again. I do hope to bring the kids there one day. I think they would have a blast at:
Circus Circus-Adventuredome Theme Park
Tournament of The Kings
Hershey’s Chocolate World
The Various Arcades and Pools
There’s quite a few more attractions that are great for families. But the kids would have to be older in order for them to enjoy it enough. For now, I think they will have a great time with Grandma. She’s already told me about all the fun things she plans to do with them!
AHHH!! I just can’t wait to go and bring back all the fun to you guys!!!
