A Letter To; My Mom

You are the best mom I could have ever asked for and I thank you for everything you have ever done for me, Nathan and the kids.

You have always been there for me, no matter what I put you through. And that’s huge because I know I was so difficult as a teenager. I apologize for all the B.S I put you through. I honestly have no idea where I would be at without you being such a great mom and showing me how to live life.

You’ve shown me how to be a good mom myself. I would have been so lost if I wouldn’t have had you around when I had Brodey. (And again with Hailey.) But it was hard being a teenage mom. And it had to have been so hard for you to have a teenage daughter who was a mom, but you supported me from the get-go. You’ve always been there for Brodey and I.

You are absolutely gorgeous and I hope when I’m your age I look half as good as you do!

You are the best grandmother ever. The kids really enjoy spending time with you and I’m so thankful for all the time you spend with them. For letting them spend the night and for watching them so Nathan and I can go on dates. The way they light up when they talk about you or going to your house, warms my heart. They are only your grandchildren, but I can’t count how many times you’ve put them first.

You always support me with whatever I want to do. You never judge me or make me feel bad about my decisions.

It’s because of you mom, that I strive to be the best mother I can be to Brodey and Hailey.

So thank you.

Thank you for supporting me in everything I do.

Thank you for being there for me during some of the most difficult times I have ever gone through.

Thank you for coming home to help me get out of an awful situation.

Thank you for NEVER giving up on me.

Thank you for being there for not only me, but my husband and children as well.

Thank you for being the best grandmother ever.

Thank you, mom. For everything you do.

I love you more than words can ever express and I don’t know where I would be with out you.

    1. You are absolutely right! We must appreciate them for all they do for us! (Which I never fully understood I became a mother!)
